Share your design with the team.

Invite your director, lighting designer and stage manager by email. One person edits while the others follow the changes live. For people who only need to view the design, send a share link they can open without an account.

View-only links are free. Invitations require a Production Pass or Pro; version history and the activity record require Pro.

People and roles

Choose who can edit and who can view

Send an invitation by email. Once accepted, the production appears under Shared with you in their free account and does not count toward their own production limit.

Owner
Owns the production, and decides who else is on it.
Editor
Can open the production and change it: the plan, the rig, the running order.
Viewer
Can open the production, read it and print it, but not change it.

Add production credits

Add an optional credit such as Lighting Designer, Stage Manager or Director. Set editing and viewing permissions separately: a person’s production role does not determine their access.

Invitees must verify the email address the invitation was sent to.

Editing together

One person edits while the others follow live

The first person to start editing has control. Other team members can follow the changes live, explore the model and access the paperwork while one person edits.

For example, the designer can hand editing over to the lighting designer while the director reviews the model and the stage manager checks the paperwork.

Hand over control
Your latest changes are saved before control passes to the next editor.
Review the design
Look through the sets, explore the model and use the available exports while someone else edits.

Share links

Share a view-only link

A share link opens the sets, lighting, 3D model and paperwork in view-only mode. Invite someone with an account when they need to edit.

No account needed to view
Recipients can open the production in their browser without an account.
Set an optional expiry date
Choose an expiry date for each link, or leave it open-ended.
Revoke a link
Revoking a link stops access through that link. The production is unchanged.

Anyone with the link can read this production: every set, the rig and the paperwork. Nobody can change anything, and nobody needs an account.

Version history

Review earlier versions and keep named snapshots

Version history shows retained saves with an author and a time. Preview an earlier version and restore it as a new save, without removing the versions that came after it.

Name a retained save to pin it as a snapshot, such as “Before tech week”. Pinned snapshots are kept until you unpin them. Older unpinned saves are grouped into editing sessions, with the final save from each session retained.

Recent activity

  • v18Designer pinned version 18 as “Before tech week”
  • v17Designer moved 3 pieces on “The Parlour”
  • v16Lighting Designer changed the lighting look on “The Storm”
  • v15Designer created a view-only link
  • v14Stage Manager joined the production

The activity record shows who made each change and when.
