Every export

Choose the paperwork for your team

Every new export reflects the current design. Choose drawings for printing, CSV tables for spreadsheets or MVR for a compatible lighting console or visualizer. Export a new pack after changes, or send a view-only share link so the team can open the current production.

Each export card lists the available formats. If an export needs more information, the card tells you what to add.

Real scales

Print at a stated scale

Drawings use A3 or A4 paper at 1:25, 1:50, 1:100 or 1:200. Setplot selects the largest of these scales that fits the drawing and prints it in the title block. Print at 100 percent to preserve that scale.

Stage maps and lighting plots show the stage outline and seating banks for the selected venue. Stage maps also offer an optional sightline overlay. Estimated seating is marked as estimated.

This example shows how a larger stage needs a smaller print scale to fit on the same A3 sheet. The selected scale is printed on the drawing.

Formats

Choose how to use the file

Choose a format for printing, presenting the design or working in a spreadsheet.

PDF: Use the print dialog to save a PDF or send the sheet to a printer.
PNG: A picture to drop into a document, a slide or an email.
SVG: Open the drawing in a vector editor to make further changes.
CSV: Open tables in a spreadsheet to sort, filter or add production notes.

MVR rig export is included with a Production Pass or Pro. Standard sheets and tables are available with a free account, and drawn sheets carry a small Setplot credit.

Review the production details in a spreadsheet

Export channel hookups, hanging schedules, patch sheets, shift plots and inventory as CSV tables. Column headings stay in English so your team can use the same spreadsheet setup regardless of the app’s display language.

Choose UK or US theatre terms in Language settings for the editor and paperwork. Drawing measurements stay metric.
